The WIB accomplishes its work primarily through the Board committees – Executive, Operations Oversight and Youth Council. Each member of the WIB is strongly encouraged to participate on at least one committee. Below is an outline of each committee's responsibilities.
- Executive
- Responsible for fiscal and contracting, personnel, board information, strategic planning and marketing.
- Operations Oversight
- Responsible for system performance, training policies, operational matters of Centers, and program monitoring of system.
- Youth Council
- Provides input and recommendations to the Board in regards to the youth program; responsible for developing an RFP for services, reviewing proposals, recommending contracts, and general oversight of the entire youth program.
